We stopped for doughnuts at The Doughnut Project and a pretzel at a street vendor and continued to Central Park. We meandered north and got almost halfway through the park. Then we left the park, found a place to sit and have drinks and then to Barney Greengrass for bagels, lox, etc for breakfast tomorrow.
Hudson spent three days at Camp Orkila with his 5th grade class. Due to poor planning, we had our flight to New York on the final day of his trip at 1pm but he wouldn’t be home until 4pm. It’s a 4-hour drive each way to pick him up so we were in a bit of a pickle. So, at 8am, Gay flew on Kenmore Air from Lake Union to Orcas Island, picked him up and flew him back and was home by 10am.
We flew JetBlue Mint and I got the best seat I’ve ever had on a flight:
We got to Manhattan at 9:30pm, walked around the neighborhood, got pizza slices for dinner and the very tired kids went to bed at midnight.
