Our boat is almost finished and I received some new photos today.
For the first time since the pandemic started we went to a restaurant, Terra Plata, for Gay’s 51st birthday dinner. On the way home we tried to find an open Starbucks so she could get her free birthday coffee but there weren’t any. Then we had cupcakes and presents at home.
I got my Tonal strength score over 1,000 today!
We missed taking a trip during the kids’ mid-winter break so we spent 5 days in Cle Elum. Jon, Megan & Emm joined us for the weekend.
I just received some photos from Italy of the boat being built…
All 5 of us passed. We took tests so we could spend the weekend with friends who need to be extra safe because their daughter is in a strict school “pod”. The tests were super easy: pull up in your car, take a swab and swirl it in each nostril and give it back. It took about a minute, was painless and cost nothing. And there are those who think government can’t do anything right. 🤷🏻♂️
If it was done as a commercial business it wouldn’t be free, so less people would do it which would make everyone less safe, and there’d be incentives to falsify results to be the most popular service (“get tested by us, we have more negative results than anyone!”), making everyone even less safe.
