		<description>Speaking as a Canadian journalist, I would hardly paint the entire population with a brush dipped in a pub. This is actually a very media-savvy country. We refuse to view our world through the lens of only one media machine.

It's one of the things I've always liked about working north of the border. I do, however, do my best to stay away from pubs. Not many media-whizzes working there.</description>
