Another article on Mitch Kapor’s OSAF. It’s interesting in the sense that they’re really trying to spur some competition in the PIM market so that Outlook may get better.

Bourbon glass

Passenger-only ferries may end

It sounds like bad news, but could actually be good for us. The Seattle Times: Local News: Passenger-only ferries may end: Thorne said he also wants to look at moving the Vashon Island and Southworth traffic from Fauntleroy in West Seattle to downtown Seattle.

He has suggested everything from remodeling Colman Dock and installing restaurants and shops to putting service on the ferries.

sucks for us

No Joy in Vashon…Mr. Ferry’s proposal is to eliminate the passenger only ferry and go to only a 2 boat schedule on weekends starting in June. And sometime between 2005 and 2013 *consider* losing the Fauntleroy dock for downtown…right about the time we’ll be getting the monorail…what’s the point?

iTerm

iTerm is a 3rd party terminal app. Supposedly faster than Terminal.app and has better support for VT10x terminals. The biggest thing (for me) is tabbed windows.
